Ron
Harrison
CEO / Founder

Ron has been in the headhunting business since 1993.
In his hands-on leadership role he is responsible for
business development, strategic alliances, partnerships
as well as managing select client’s staffing needs.
Jivaro’s focus and commitment to building strong
relationships through collaboration and teamwork comes
from his experience as a collegiate athlete. Ron has
spent his career building relationships with several
of the bay area's venture capital firms. Prior to founding
Jivaro in 1997, he held various positions at Emersoft
Staffing and was pivotal in growing the organization
from 6 to 150 recruiters.
Sarah Gardner
COO / CFO

Sarah has been with Jivaro from the beginning where
she is responsible for all of the day-to-day financial
and office operations. Before joining Jivaro, She was
an entrepreneur having founded and managed a shipping
business that was later acquired. Sarah holds a BA from
the University of Utah.
Josh Bear
Vice President / Founding Team Member

Josh has been involved in headhunting since he joined
Jivaro as its head of Client research division in 1997.
In addition to his day-to-day headhunting responsibilities,
he also manages multiple teams of recruiters that focus
on high tech placements and handles operations for one
of Jivaro’s 4 regional offices. Josh has forged
strong relationships with several top tier venture capital
firms. While his focus is on assisting them staff executive
positions at their portfolio companies, he has also
helped many startup companies obtain funding through
his VC relationships.
Michael
Cord
Managing Partner / Founding Team Member

Michael has been a headhunter since 1997 when Jivaro
opened it doors. In his role at Jivaro he balances his
day-to-day client’s staffing needs with running
daily operations of a team of headhunters. Prior to
joining Jivaro, Michael spent 6 years at Peak Media
as the VP of Sales for five different publications.
Michael holds a marketing degree from Pepperdine University.
Nic Bingham
Group Manager

Nic joined Jivaro in 2000 and quickly established himself as one of the top headhunters in the company. While managing a team of headhunters, Nic still works with some of the top tier Venture Capital firms, helping them staff their portfolio companies. Prior to Jivaro, Nic was a Regional Sales Manager for 24 Hour Fitness where he exceeded 100% of his quota in every quarter of his employment with them. Nic has placed in a variety of amateur bodybuilding competitions and continues to make fitness a big part of his daily life. Nic holds a BS/BA in Industrial / Systems Engineering from USD.
Erik Lisk

Since joining Jivaro in 2003, Erik has proven himself to be a rising star in the recruiting business. After consistently proving himself as one of the top individual performers at Jivaro, Erik took on a leadership position as a group manager where his ability to lead by example has been instrumental in training and growing his team. Prior to joining Jivaro, he was living the dream as a professional skier. Erik holds a BS degree in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Colby College.

Croft

David R. Croft is a member of the law firm of Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLCC, Wheeling, West Virginia. He concentrates
his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning,
and commercial transactions. Croft is a graduate of
West Liberty State College, and West Virginia University
College of Law. He is admitted to the United States
District Court of the Southern and Northern Districts
of West Virginia, West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals,
and all West Virginia Circuit Courts. Croft is a member
of the Ohio County and American Bar Associations, the
Upper Ohio Valley Estate Planning Council, and West
Virginia State Bar. Mr. Croft received the Thomas N.
Chambers Award in Taxation from the West Virginia Tax
Institute in 1999. Prior to attending law school, Croft
practiced accounting as a C.P.A. in West Virginia. Croft
serves as an Adjunct Lecturer of Law at the West Virginia
University College of Law where he has taught Partnership
Tax, Fundamentals of Federal Taxation and Property III
(wills, estates and trusts). Croft has presented continuing
legal education seminars on the subjects of trust law,
limited liability entities, elder law and special needs
trusts.
